For PHILOSOPHIE, Bai scans every illustration in dtv-Atlas Philosophie, cuts the diagrams into separate visual modules, and reassembles them into an image that can extend across a wall. Arrows, classification boxes, and flowcharts retain the appearance of an ordered body of knowledge, but are detached from the chapters and lines of argument they originally served.
