Breathe

Breathe transforms Bai’s early fascination with UFOs and science fiction into an inhabitable public installation. Metal structures, lighting, and artificial moss form a space that visitors can enter, sit in, and remain within. After the work was installed, wind passing through openings of different sizes and across the metal surfaces unexpectedly began to produce subtle sounds that vary with the surrounding conditions. This acoustic element was not predetermined, but emerged after the work entered the actual site.

《息》将柏志威少年时期对 UFO 与科幻世界的想象转化为一件可以进入的公共装置。金属结构、灯光与仿生苔藓共同构成一个可供观众进入、坐下和停留的空间。作品安装完成后，现场的风穿过不同尺度的孔洞与金属表面，意外产生随环境变化的细微声响；这一声音并非预先设计，而是在材料进入真实场地后出现。
