Exercises in Regret : A Conversation with the Big Dipper

I was originally invited to present a Sound and Visual Performance at the Shenzhen Astronomical Observatory, with plans to project visuals onto the massive observation sphere and invite the audience to engage in a meditative experience, connecting with the stars above. Due to the geographic setting, the Big Dipper was directly overhead, as if in dialogue with it. Unfortunately, the event was postponed due to a typhoon on the day of the exhibition.
Nevertheless, despite the exhibition not taking place, I would like to share the visual fragments along with three improvisational synthesizer exercises, allowing these moments and sounds to continue resonating in the stillness after the storm, like a deep meditation that reconnects the consciousness of the self with the vast expanse of the universe.
